Memorable Moments

My niece, Justine, and her children Alden and Lillian, stopped by for a visit on their way home from a two week vacation. We don't get to see them very often so it was wonderful that they had an opportunity to stop by! After a quick lunch, we went to see mom at The Living Center. Mom wanted to get out of her room so we went to the hospital cafeteria and enjoyed some delicious lemonade. Alden, 8, and Lilly, 5, brought along Fusion, by Model Magic, which is like play dough only not as messy! 

                      

                       

Next we went outside to see the beautiful flowers that are located outside the sun room and where there's a water garden which includes frogs, goldfish, lily pads and water lilies. The frogs enthusiastically jumped from pad to pad. 

                              

                       

We all had a great time and before we knew it, it was time for mom to have dinner at TLC.  The rest of us went to Applebees for OUR dinner. It was freezing inside and poor Lilly was so cold! Lilly happens to have a loose tooth and she is indeed anxious for it to come out! Every few moments she was asking her mom to wiggle it and see if it was ready to fall out. Alden has new teeth coming in and Lilly wants hers to come out. Well..... at least her very first tooth!  Needless to say, Lilly had a difficult time consuming her hamburger.  Alden was quite the opposite, he gobbled up his dinner in a timely fashion and loved every bite. 

We finished the evening with a swim at the Comfort Inn. I was quite impressed with their aquatic capabilities!! (Lilly even forgot about her loose tooth while in the pool.) The kids discovered something interesting.

We met at The Living Center at 9:00 AM to say our goodbyes. Hopefully they will be back in the fall with my other niece, Laura. 

Justine, Alden and Lilly.........thank you so very much for a magical, magnificent time in Marshall. It meant the world to us!  :)
