MOM

I want to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.  As most of you know, mom passed away on February 22, 2009.  I think she picked a good day....Sunday.  The weather was good during the last few days and on the day of her funeral. Good job, mom!!!

I am trying to keep really, really busy!!  In fact, today, March 13th, is the first day I do NOT have plans!  My friends and family have been so good to me.  Going out to lunch, dinner, movies, shopping.....it's been great!  I wish it was a little warmer out today.  Sure, there are lots of things I COULD do, but you know how it is, I don't feel like it.  It's nice when you can talk to people.  I am going to KC on Sunday and hang out with Farrah.  See a movie, go to the book store and whatever.

Mom was such a wonderful person in so many ways!  I was with her the last 10 years of her life.  We did everything together, so I had the privilege of knowing her every thought, movement, likes and dislikes....you name it, I knew it!!  I miss her.  Those of you that have lost your mom, know what I am feeling right now.  Mom........I love you.
