NORWAY

My ancestors were from Norway. I suppose I am 75% Norwegian. I have relatives that reside in Oslo. My cousin, Christine, is doing all the hard genealogy work. Luckily, she enjoys it! My cousin, Nancy, traveled with her mom to Norway a few years back. It's so beautiful there! Since I will never be able to go there I got a DVD on Norway from the library. I never knew that the Norwegians discovered America in the year 1000, before Columbus did.

Today Norway is the third largest exporter of oil in the World. In the 1960's oil was discovered in the North Sea off the coast of Norway. They have one of the most massive offshore drilling platform on the Globe. The deep fjords are spectacular with their limitless beauty.
